ПОМОГИТЕ ПЕРЕВЕСТИ ПОЖАЛУЙСТА!!My dearest Lucy,Forgive my long delay in writing, but I have had too muchwork. The life of an assistant schoolmistress is sometimes chal-lenging. I want to be with you, and by the sea, where we can talktogether. I have been working very hard lately, because I wantto keep up with Jonathan’s studies, and I have been practisingshorthand very hard. When we are married I shall be able to beuseful to Jonathan, and if I can stenograph well enough I cantake down what he wants to say in this way and write it out forhim on the typewriter, at which I am also practising very hard.He and I sometimes write letters in shorthand, and he is keep-ing a stenographic journal of his travels abroad. When I amwith you I shall keep a diary in the same way, a sort of journalwhich I can write in. I do not suppose there will be much ofinterest to other people. But I may show it to Jonathan someday if there is in it anything worth sharing, but it is really anexercise book. I shall try to do what I see lady journalists dointerviewing and writing descriptions and trying to rememberconversations. I am told that, with a little practice, you canremember all that goes on during a day. However, we shall see.I shall tell you all my little plans when we meet. I have just hada few lines from Jonathan from Transylvania. He is well, andwill be returning in a week. I am waiting to hear all his news. Itmust be so nice to see strange countries. There is the ten-o’clockbell ringing. Goodbye.Your loving
